Hi and welcome to SaverQueen, a blog about about frugality, sustainability and mindfulness. I am passionate about innovation within the nonprofit sector and care deeply about a variety of social issues, believing that everyone on the planet has the right to a joyful, peaceful life, free from discrimination. I currently work for an ASO (AIDS Service Organization) and freelance as a writer and workshop facilitator, helping nonprofits to learn how to use social media effectively. I am also an active volunteer, an artist, a yoga student, and I love getting creative, especially when it comes to being frugal and environmentally responsible. I believe that there is a distinct difference between being frugal and being cheap, the former being the cornerstone of gratitude, sustainability and selflessness. - What a great morning. Slept in. Great coffee from Planet Bean. A long walk and rest in the Arboretum. Then snuggled some little puppies.
