I just received a coupon to save on tea in my inbox - but only for my readers who live in the UK, unfortunately!  I hope my British visitors get some use out of this one! Save 40p on your next Twinnings purchase!

Unfortunately, when I downloaded the coupon it eliminated the bar code. If you want one, I can email it to you and you can print it out on your home computer. Let me know if you would like this coupon!

    1. oh darnit! i got all excited for a twinnings coupon. :P

    2. I’m sorry I have to make this a blog post rather than an email- Hotmail doesn’t like to recognize the Internet app I use on my good ol’ Mac, so emailing is rather difficult.

I spent 25.71 is total (my goal was to keep it under 25), and the boxes I’m sending to the Kosher Food Bank contain:

      1 can baby formula
      6 jars baby food
      4 cans tuna
      1 jar peanut butter
      1 bottle Kiddush wine
1 box of Nestea instant packets
      1 can tomato juice
      1 box of falafel mix
      2 boxes couscous
3 boxes Wacky Mac (kosher KD)
      1 box chicken broth
      2 packages egg noodles
7 boxes instant oatmeal (12 packets per box)
      3 litres of Almond Breeze
      1 litre Soy Dream
      2 packages dry barley
      1 package dry black beans
      2 cans stewed tomatoes
5 cans tomato sauce (basil and spices and roasted red pepper flavours)
      1 can navy beans
      1 box whole-wheat lasagna noodles
      1 box Matzah Farfel
      1 box Chocolate Matzah
      7 packages microwave popcorn
      1 package sesame pretzels
      1 box GF Bread Mix
2 boxes GF Pizza Crust Mix

      Toiletries:
      1 bottle moisturizer
      1 tube Colgate toothpaste
      2 toothbrushes
      2 boxes of dental floss

+one box of miscellaneous canned goods from the office.

I’m really proud of how things turned out. I worked hard to scour the flyers for deals, although I had less success trying to use coupons. They key to all of this, though, was relying on the generosity of others. It’s amazing what people will give when they know there’s a need (and, in all honesty, when someone is willing to chase them down for it and put in some elbow grease). It’s a lesson I hope to remember around kidling time. I heard again and again how people have houses full of baby stuff but don’t know how to get rid of it. Sign me up! It’s amazing what people are willing to part with when you just ask.

    3. Kate, I’m blown away. What a tremendous job you did. I’m so touched and inspired!

    4. Awwww… Thanks!

    5. I LOVE Twinings tea. It’s just so darn expensive :)
